(for activating debit card through Self-Banking Portal)
Dear Valued Client,
You have initiated activation of your debit card through Self-Banking portal after receiving it, which has been sent to you in response to your request by paper application or through Self-Banking Portal for issuing a new Debit Card or, as a replacement of your Debit Card or, your existing Debit Card is nearing expiry.
Please note that for safety reason, the Debit Card is being sent in inactivated status and cannot be used until it is acknowledged and activated by you. Please also note the followings:
- You will also receive a PIN-Mailer if you have requested a paper based PIN. Or you can generate the PIN using Green Option from Dhaka Bank Call Center 16474. Please remember that your PIN is confidential. You will need to input this PIN while making payments or doing ATM transactions.
- Please sign immediately in the authorized signature space available at the back side of your card.
- Please do not share your Debit Card details such as Card Number, Expiry Date, PIN' Number and Security Code (CVV) with anyone. We need your cooperation to keep your card information confidential & secured.
- Please keep the Bank informed & updated of your detail contact information (e.g. for mobile number, email, contact address).
As you are activating the debit card through Self-Banking portal you acknowledge that:
The card has been issued against your account with Dhaka Bank and you have initiated the activation by yourself.
- You have logged in to the Self-Banking portal by using the OTP sent to your registered mobile number for your account
- You have taken a selfie of yourself as proof that you have activated the card by yourself.
- If any fraudulent activity is done with the card after activation, you will be responsible for that and for any loss due to the fraudulent use the card. Under any circumstances Bank or its Official will not be held responsible for fraudulent use of your card.
- You will always ensure that you keep the card in your custody and in case of misplacing of losing the possession of the card you will take necessary steps to block the card.
By ACCEPTING the Terms & Conditions I/We confirm receipt of the DHAKA BANK Debit Card and that the information given above is true and complete and agree to comply with the terms and condition stated above for activating the debit card using this Self-Banking portal and also agree to comply with the rules governing customer accounts with The Dhaka Bank Limited.
